As Red Hot Chili Peppers rev their engines for the release of their 11th full-length, The Getaway, on June 17, they've shared the title track from the album.

Having dropped first single Dark Necessities a few weeks ago, The Getaway is a groovy, psych-tinged track — not surprising given the band worked with Radiohead producer Nigel Godrich and Danger Mouse (Gnarls Barkley) for the upcoming release. The Getaway will be their first album since 2011's I'm With You.

The band's 53-year-old frontman Anthony Kiedis has been in ill health recently, having been rushed to hospital mid-gig in California earlier this month. RCHP drummer Chad Smith later told media that "[Anthony's] stomach was killing him [and] it was really scary … So we went directly to the hospital and we were really upset we couldn't play for the fans, but also more worried about him."
