Rebecca Black was already making her way to Australia for Spilt Milk Festival this December, but today, to the delight of her devoted fans, the American singer-songwriter has announced two sideshows.

Black’s SALVATION tour marks her first-ever headline shows in Australia. An undisputed cult hero of underground electronic/hyperpop music, fashion, and queer art scenes, Rebecca Black will perform at Sydney’s Metro Theatre on Tuesday, 9 December, and Melbourne’s 170 Russell on Thursday, 11 December.

Mastercard cardholders can access pre-sale tickets on Friday, 23 May, at 10 am local time – head to the Priceless website for more information. That pre-sale begins ahead of the My Live Nation pre-sale on Monday, 26 May, at 10 am local time.

Rebecca Black has collaborated with artists including Slayyyter, MØ, and bbno$. This year marks the beginning of her new era with the project SALVATION, which contains confident, pop/dance bangers with bold yet personal lyrics; its synth-driven tunes bringing mayhem to dancefloors across the globe.

While Black is still recognised for her song Friday, which she released at 13 years old in 2011, her music has far exceeded her viral pop beginnings. In 2023, she released her long-awaited debut album, Let Her Burn, which was preceded by two EPs. SALVATION arrived earlier this year and again showcased Black’s ability to release big-budget-sounding songs through a DIY lens.
