'The Muscles From Brussels'.

If you were super into your '80s and '90s action movies then martial artist and actor Jean-Claude Van Damme was probably one of your greatest heroes and you would have done anything to meet him and practice just one solid roundhouse kick with him — well here's your chance (to meet him, not participate in karate), because the Hollywood legend is heading to Australia next month.

Heading Down Under in support of his show, An Evening With Jean-Claude Van Damme — Unplugged & Unscripted, the 55-year-old film star will take to the stage in Sydney and Melbourne to tell untold stories of his life, his films, the people he has worked with and even a Q&A session with the audience. Maybe he'll also explain why he ever agreed to Double Team — we'll see.

The Australian trip is Van-Damme's first in over 18 years. That's right, Universal Soldier: The Return was only JUST about to come out.

"I love Australia and Australians," Van Damme said of the upcoming trip.

"It’s an amazing country and I can’t wait to come back in August to meet my fans and make some new friends too. I made Street Fighter on the Gold Coast and look forward to making more movies there."
