The talented Mexican-born, US-based musician will play a few extra shows in November
New Mexico's amazing example of overcoming the odds, blind musician Raul Midón will make his way Down Under this November, announcing he'll be gracing four performance venues including a set at Mullum Music Festival.
On top of headlining the enormous Mullum Music Festival - the first lineup drop unveiled this morning - Raul Midón will also play three sideshows up the east coast in Richmond, Sydney and Brisbane, bringing his uniquely creative set and improvisational mouth-horn to Aussie fans.
Constantly told he couldn't do things because he was blind, a determined Midón has since released even records since 1999, collaborated with the likes of Stevie Wonder, contributed to music by Queen Latifah and Snoop Dogg and made fans of musicians Jeff Beck, Bill Withers and Jason Mraz, to name a few.
Check out the troubadour's expertise as he owns this acoustic guitar on David Letterman a few years ago, letting music lovers know what they can expect come November this year.
