Set to be faced with murder charge.
Troy Ave, the rapper charged with attempted murder following the fatal shooting at a TI concert in New York last week, has had his court date postponed due to undergoing surgery on a self-inflicted gun wound that occurred during the incident at Irving Plaza.
As NY Daily News reports, the hip hop artist, real name Roland Collins, was due in court on Saturday but remained in hospital to have bone fragments removed from his leg.
Collins was arrested at the hospital following the shooting where he was seeking treatment and was charged with reckless endangerment, criminal possession of a weapon and menacing.
Three people were injured in the shooting at the Irving Plaza, while another died who was later identified as Collins' bodyguard, Ronald McPhatter.

Officials say Collins let off five shots in total inside the venue.
He is reportedly handcuffed to a bed and under a police guard at a New York medical centre and is expected to face a murder charge pending a ballistics test.
