Randy Newman Confirms First Aus Tour In Almost 10 Years

Music legend and pop culture icon Randy Newman will return to Australia next January for a run of headline shows, marking his first dates in the country in almost 10 years.

An Evening With Randy Newman follows the release of his 11th studio album of original material, Dark Matter, which was dropped in 2017 and contained Grammy-winning single Putin.

More recently, Newman collaborated with Rex Orange County for a new version of seminal hit You’ve Got A Friend In Me for Toy Story 4, while also working with Chance The Rapper on his single 5 Year Plan, which appeared on last month’s The Big Day LP.

The tour will kick off in late January in Perth before taking on Melbourne, Sydney and Brisbane.
