Rainy Day Women Hit The East Coast

The Fremantle based group will be over east in March.

In a bid to carry on from a very successful 2012, Fremantle's Rainy Day Women announce the release of a new EP Friends, as well as national tour. Having scored gigs at the St Kilda Festival, FUSE, and Groovin' The Moo last year, and supporting the likes of San Cisco, Loon Lake and Ball Park Music on their tours, the west coast lads are ready to make their own mark on the country, playing shows in Perth, Brisbane, Sydney and Melbourne.

Nominated for three WAMi awards in 2012, and taking out the coveted WAM Song of 2012 award with their track Sleigh Bed, the four-piece prove they are a group to watch. Their sophomore EP Friends was recorded with help from the likes of Andy Lawson (Eskimo Joe, The Chemist) and Brian Lucy (The Black Keys, The Shins) showing a more focussed and grown up side to the group, without losing their garage indie pop vibe.

Make Friends with the boys at the following venues:

Saturday 9 February – St. Jerome's Laneway Festival, Perth
Friday 8 March – Amplifier Bar, Perth
Thursday 14 March – Black Bear Lodge, Brisbane
Friday 15 March – FBI Social, Sydney
Saturday 16 March – The Worker's Club, Melbourne
