Radiohead guitarist Jonny Greenwood revealed that the band are currently recording, only two weeks after the shock release of their last album, The King of Limbs.
Greenwood had the following to say to the BBC:
"We are recording with Radiohead and rehearsing, playing and making music and working out what to do. We have stopped planning ahead very far, just making music and wondering where to go next and what to do."
The band released The King of Limbs via their website on February 18th, revealing that they had a new album in the works only four days before they released it.
In the same BBC interview, Greenwood discussed writing the score for the film adaption to Norwegian Wood, a book written by masterful Japanese storyteller Haruki Murakami.
Greenwood's attraction to scoring the film, due out on March 11th, grew from his love of the book:
"There's lots of stuff in the book about music lessons and learning to play Bach on guitar, this isn't in the film but it helped me write lots of the guitar music."
