Just like that it's June and time for the third round of radio ratings for 2019. Check out the metro figures below and click on the images for a larger version. See the April 2019 ratings here.
Sydney
KIIS FM's Kyle & Jackie O hold the top spot in the Sydney FM breakfast show ratings with 11.8% (up 0.4%), followed by WSFM's Jonesy & Amanda at 8.8% (up 0.9%). Triple J's breakfast program with Ben & Liam is down 1% from the last ratings results, now coming in with 3.4% of the Sydney market share.
2GB's successful run continues across the board, with the station #1 across Sydney with 15.3% of the market (up 0.8%), with KIIS at 10% (up 0.1%), Smooth FM at 9.4% (remaining steady), WSFM at 8% (up 0.3%) and Triple M at 5.6% (up 0.8%).
Triple J falls from 4.6% to 3.8%, representing a loss of 0.8% of the market share. Loss is reflected across all triple j Sydney programs except in the evening program which sees a growth of 0.1%, taking it to 4.6%.

Melbourne
Fox FM and Smooth FM have tie at 8.9% for most popular Melbourne FM breakfast programs, with Fox up 0.2% and Smooth down 0.6%. Triple J's breakfast program continues its loss in Melbourne, down to 5.2% from 5.6%.
Smooth FM continues its hold as the most popular overall station in Melbourne at 10% of the share (down 0.7%), with Gold FM second with 9.9% (down 0.1%). Triple J's drive and evening programs both see a growth of 0.2% each, with drive scoring 5.9% and evening 3.5%.
Brisbane
Triple J sees substantial growth across nearly all programs in the Brisbane sector, which sees its market share grow from 7.2% to 8.5%, up 1.3% on the last ratings. Breakfast is at 8% (1.1%), morning at 8.2% (up 1.5%), afternoon at 9.2% (up 1.5%) and drive at 9.2% (up 1.4%), with evening the only program to make a loss (down 0.2%).
Nova FM (11.7%) takes over from Triple M (10.5%) as the most popular station in Brisbane, with Hit FM coming in second with 11.6% market share. This is reflected in both stations' breakfast figures with Nova at 11.3% and Hit at 11%.
Adelaide
Mix 102.3 remains the SA capital's #1 FM station despite a drop of 1.6%, seeing it take 12.4% of the market share. Second placed ABC comes in with 10.8% (up 0.6%), while FIVEaa picks up 1.3% to land at 10.6% and Nova FM grows 0.2% to 10.3%.
Triple J grows its market share to 7.8% (up 0.4%), while Adelaide locals Ben & Liam and their breakfast program seeing a growth of 0.8%, taking them to 7.5%.
Perth
Perth's Mix FM holds onto its top spot with 14.7% (down 1.1%), with Nova FM in second place at 12.9% (up 0.6%) and triple j in third with 10.6% (down 0.7%). The winning breakfast program belongs to Nova FM at 13.1% (down 0.5%) with Mix FM's coming in with 12.9% (down 1.9%).
Triple J experiences losses across all programs, most significantly in the afternoon slot, which is down 0.9%. The station remains in third position in Perth with a 10.6% share.
