The Scandinavian electro-pop trio are extending their world headline tour to take in the antipodes
Norwegian electronic luminaries Röyksopp and collaborator Robyn have announced that their joint Do It Again world tour will extend to Australia for a pair of shows in Melbourne and Sydney while the act are in the country for the forthcoming Falls Festival.
The shows, which go down at the cities' respective venues the Palais Theatre and Hordern Pavilion on January 5 and 6, are named for the trio's recent collaborative mini-album Do It Again, and promise to be a smorgasbord for the senses, comprised of three sets — a Röyksopp performance, a Robyn performance, and a triumphant climax involving all three individuals eclipsing the sum of their parts to close out the joyous, visually/aurally impressive production.
Tickets for the outfit's sole Aussie headline shows will be up for grabs from 10am next Friday, November 7. My Live Nation members, as always, have an early shot at passes during the members' pre-sale, which kicks off at 10am on Wednesday, November 5. For more information about the pre-sale, see Live Nation's website.
