First Artists Confirmed For 'One-of-a-kind' Event 'Opera At Jimbour'

All happening as a part of Queensland Music Trails!

Queensland Music TrailsOpera At Jimbour event has unveiled its incredible first line-up of classical performers set to grace the stages across the iconic Jimbour House.

Queensland Music Trails is presented as a brand new portion of the Queensland Music Festival, taking place all across the sunshine state this month, and Opera At Jimbour is the first stop on the inaugural event.

Some of the country’s most renowned artists and composers from the worlds of classical, opera and chamber music will lead the event. 

Internationally acclaimed violinist Natsuko Yoshimoto, operatic soprano Rebecca Cassidy, clarinet maestro Paul Dean and many more will feature, led by conductor and associate director of Opera Queensland, Dane Lam.

“With international borders closed, everyone in Australia is looking for a one-of-a-kind experience in their own backyard,” Queensland Music Festival CEO Joel Edmondson stated. 

“The events along the first ever Outback Music Trail are a new way to get to know the diverse people and places of Outback Queensland. 

"Nothing makes memories like seeing something totally amazing in a place you would never expect. We couldn’t be happier to kickstart the very first trail in the beautiful surroundings of the Western Downs.”
