QMusic Announces Shake-up To Management Team: 'A Critical Time For The Industry'

“They bring great enthusiasm and insights at a critical time for QMusic and the wider industry."

QMusic has today announced major changes to its management team, welcoming a new President and Vice President.

The QMusic Management Committee has confirmed that Natalie Strijland, who is the Director of law firm NR Barbi Solicitor Pty Ltd, will take over the position of President from Michael Crutcher effective immediately, while D-J Wendt takes over as Vice President from Stephen Green, who also steps down from the committee after almost 15 years.

“I’m delighted that Natalie and D-J have stepped into the leadership roles,” Crutcher said.

“They bring great enthusiasm and insights at a critical time for QMusic and the wider industry. I look forward to working with them. My sincere thanks to Greenie for his contribution and support to our organisation over so many years. He will be missed. It’s been a privilege to have filled the role of President.

“I thank the many people who have helped me along the way. It’s time for fresh eyes to take QMusic the next step along our 26-year journey and I look forward to what lies ahead for the organisation.”

Strijland added: "On behalf of QMusic, I thank Michael and Greenie for the impact they have made on the Australian music industry through their involvement on the QMusic Management Committee, with almost 22 years between them.

“We are looking forward to the opportunities a new President and Vice President brings. I also officially welcome JC to the Committee. We are excited to have him as part of the team."

Crutcher remains a Committee Member, alongside new addition John "JC" Collins of Powderfinger, The Triffid and The Fortitude Music Hall fame.
