Push Over launch competitions

Push Over has launched two new competitions to coincide with the upcoming festival.

The first competition unveiled today give bands the chance to join the line up via Triple J Unearthed.

"Get your music up online at triple j Unearthed before Sunday February 10th and you will automatically be in the running to play at this year’s Push Over festival," the press release notes.

Additionally, the festival announced a secondary giveaway, which offers fans VIP birthday party tickets and a chance to meet their favourite artist.

"The winner and a friend will receive TWO VIP tickets to Push Over where they will be decked out in party gear, eating birthday cake and taken back stage for an exclusive meet and greet with their favourite artist. All you have to do is submit an awesome video telling us who your favourite Push Over artist is and why you should be the 21st Birthday VIP winner. Make your video as creative as possible! Upload your video to You Tube with the hash tag #PushoverVIPme and then email the link to push@thepush.com.au. The best entries will be posted on Facebook at facebook.com/pushovervic and the winner determined by the most likes," a press release further explains.

Push Over takes place March 11, 2013 at Melbourne’s Sidney Myer Music Bowl.
