Regarded by many as the inventor of the "deep funk" sound, Purple Disco Machine has announced he will be heading to Australia next week for a handful of headline performances over just two nights.

The renowned producer will kick off his trip at The Jubilee in Brisbane before moving on to play at Pacha in Sydney on the same night on 16 April, followed by Melbourne's Revolver and Hobart's Room For A Pony on 17 April.

Founded in 2009, Purple Disco Machine has gone on to release a number of huge hits which regularly feature in the Beatport top ten, not to mention his track, My House, which peaked on the Beatport Deep House chart at #1 and remained in the top 100 for one year.
