Purple Disco Machine (Dennis Dirksen)
Grammy-Award winning king of the d-floor Purple Disco Machine will be gracing Australian and New Zealand shores once more in a celebration of his upcoming album Paradise.
The German DJ, known for his party-starting tunes, will be taking his new funk-oozing tracks for a limited three shows in Australia and New Zealand across January 2025.
The party will kick off at Sydney’s The Greenwood before heading south to Riviera Beach Club in Melbourne. The tour will then visit Kiwi fans at the Hunting Lodge Vineyard in Auckland.
The project of Tino Piontek, Purple Disco Machine will be coming down under for the first time in six years, having propped Australia into the New Year back in 2018.
While it’s been a while in between drinks for Piontek and his A/NZ fanbase, the track spinner has kept himself busy, collaborating with massive names such as Nile Rodgers, Benjamin Ingrosso and Shenseea on the new track Honey Boy, which will be available on Piontek’s new album.
Slated for release on 20th September 2024, Paradise will also have features from Metronomy and Yung Bae. Already-released tracks contain Roosevelt and Chromeo, amongst others.
