Punk Pioneers MDC To Tour Australia For The First Time

The band will be here in August.

One of the most vicious punk rock bands in the history of the world, MDC (Millions of Dead Cops), are making their way to Australia, well over 30 years since first getting together. The Austin-based band were angry and aggressive and their self-titled debut LP remains a punk rock classic; their anti-Regan America message delivered with blunt force.

They continued their socially conscious lyrical bent and added a healthy dose of satire for many years, the band eventually splitting in 1995 but coming back together half a decade later. The line-up that tours Australia in August this year will feature original frontman Dave Dictor and original guitarist Ron Poser, with newcomers Mike Smith and Jesse Cobb making up the rhythm section.

Don't miss your first and possibly only chance to see the legendary old school punk rockers MDC when they play the following shows.
