Following the recent school shooting in America, Foster The People's "Pumped Up Kicks" has been pulled from radio.
The song, which deals with the subject of a teenager plotting their revenge, has been deemed too sensitive in the wake of the mass killings at Sandy Hook Elementary School, in which 20 children were shot dead.
The lyrics to the song feature such lines as, "he found a six shooter gun in his dad’s closet, hidden with a box of fun things and I don’t even know what, but he’s coming for you, yeah he’s coming for you" which, not surprisingly, have provoked those in charge to decide to remove the song from many playlists on American radio.
