Check out the new clip from the new-look Wolf & Cub.

More Wolf & Cub More Wolf & Cub

They're making a measured return to the spotlight by the looks of things; frankly we don't really mind how they go about it, we're just very happy to have Wolf & Cub back as an active musical proposition once again.

Today we premiere the film clip for the band's new single Salao, a psyched out rock tune with a decidedly wild clip.

The video was directed by Luke Byrne, the brother of frontman Joel Byrne and a longtime collaborator with the Wolf & Cub lads. Visually it's a pretty hazy trip, but that fits nicely with the fuzzy riffs and general psychedelic touches flourishes heard all across the song.

The band have a new record that is progressing quite nicely, so we hear; the tracks are currently with Burke Reid (who's currently residing in Canada) going through the mixing process, so we imagine we should get a chance to hear them before too long.

The band have brought in two ex-members of defunct scream hipsters The Scare to fill out their line up in recent times, with Brock Fitzgerald the band's latest inclusion following the addition of Wade Keigham a short time ago. The new line up is said to boast a new sense of vitality, they're certainly sounding pretty good.
