PREMIERE: The Chemist's Creepy New Clip

The clip for Silver & Gold has landed and we get to share it with you.

The debut album from Perth's The Chemist is set for release in under a month and today we have their brand new film clip for Silver & Gold to show you in the lead up to its release.

The band generated a lot of buzz when they sprung up out of the Perth scene a little while back and, by the sounds of things, are going to be making even more of a splash when it comes time for them to release their first ever LP, Ballet In The Badlands. Said record is due to hit shelves around the nation on Friday 22 March through Create/Control.

They've already attracted plenty of positive attention in the lead up to the record; they played the Perth leg of the Big Day Out and have been earmarked by a few media outlets in those 'bands to watch' style lists, but the proof comes with the music and the way in which it's presented. Silver & Gold is an almost anthemic, very slick slice of powerful indie rock which has been getting plenty of radio play over the past couple of months.

The film clip, as you'll see, is something of an uneasy looking piece of work full of ink, ants, cockroaches, close shots and jittery lights.

Expect a full tour announce to coincide with the new record shortly.
