PREMIERE: Megastick Fanfare's Wild Clip For Uz

The band release their new EP today.

Their Grit Aglow LP was incredibly well received upon its release back in 2011, so it's high time that Sydney indie dudes Megastick Fanfare gave us some new material. Thankfully today is the day that the band will be doing just that.

We're pleased to be premiering the band's video for Uz, it's a pretty out there clip put together by friends of the band, Brooke Trezise and Nils Crompton, and features all sorts of wild but captivating imagery, both live and animated.

The song is taken from the band's new EP fanfare ep 1, which is released today through the band's Bandcamp page on a pay-what-you-like basis. The new release sees the band looking to focus on their arrangements, melodies and rhythm first, before adding in all of the extra colour that we expect from them second.

Former member of the band Danny Keig recorded and mixed the EP, his knowledge of the way the outfit operates musically no doubt a great advantage, and the band sent the tracks over to Collin Jordan to master them at the Boiler Room in Chicago.
