PREMIERE: Cub Scouts Go Synchronized Swimming, Announce Tour
The Brisbane pop group have just dropped an awesome new clip.
To say things are going well for Brisbane indie-pop group Cub Scouts right now would be a drastic understatement. To say thing are going swimmingly would be a terrible pun in relation to their new single Pool! and its accompanying film clip, so it's a good thing we're not shy of silliness.
The new single is, as you'd expect, another very bright, sunny, poppy tune that follows on nicely from their recently praised tracks Evie and Told You So and with a gorgeous clip that features the band having a red hot go at some synchronised swimming, it should again reach plenty of people.
It's not just in Australia that the band are going from strength to strength, the band have dominated the CMJ charts of late with a spot in the Top 20 and they are heading over to the UK to play the forthcoming Great Escape Festival this May.

Before that, however, the band embark on another run of east coast dates that will see them playing shows for adults and not-quite-yet-adults in capital cities next month.
The tour dates are as follows:
Saturday 9 March - Secret Garden Festival, Sydney - Sold Out
Sunday 10 March - The Lair, Sydney w/ Millions (all ages)
Saturday 16 March - The Grace Darling, Melbourne (Under 18 matinee show, 18+ evening show)
Sunday 17 March - Alhambra Lounge, Brisbane w/ Millions (Under 18 show)
Thursday 28 March - Black Bear Lodge, Brisbane
