Another five names of those who've made the cut.

After announcing the first ten names yesterday, we're up to 15 names as SPA and theMusic present the AMID Power 50 - a list of the top 50 most powerful people in the Australian music industry.

In the lead-up to the release of the 48th Australasian Music Industry Directory [AMID] Tuesday 3 July, we're releasing five names on theMusic.com.au and five names through our newsletter Your Daily SPA every day. We're not telling you where in the top 50 they ranked, but in each list of five there is one person who has made the top ten of the annual list.

The next five:

Bill Cullen OneLouder Entertainment – Managing Director
A hugely respected artist manager, Cullen has had some of the biggest artists in the business on his roster – Paul Kelly, Sarah Blasko and Kate Miller-Heidke. With a focus on long-term management, he manages to keep his hand-selected artists relevant throughout the various stages of their career arc – Paul Kelly is a national treasure and Kate Miller-Heidke was the talking point earlier this year.

Richard Kingsmill  triple j – Music Director
The longest-serving presenter at youth radio broadcaster triple j, his championing of local music and his willingness to support it whole-heartedly has granted him one of the most enduring 'nice-guy' personas in the industry. He did take some well-earned extended leave at the end of 2011 and handed responsibility to long-term Assistant Nick Findlay, but he's left a lasting mark on the station – and on the industry as a whole.

Millie Millgate Sounds Australia – Music Export Producer
The value of Millie Millgate's contribution to the industry is hard to put a figure on, but to any artist trying to break the overseas market, they know Millgate's guidance is priceless. Sounds Australia has made huge steps in creating resources and platforms for showcasing our musical talents to the world, particularly in the main conferences around the world.

Nick O'Byrne Australian Independent Record Label Association – General Manager
Known for his dedication and passion for Australia's independent music scene, O'Byrne has turned AIR into a real force during his tenure as General Manager. A noted voice in lobbying the Government for acknowledgment of the music industry, he's spearheading the collective indie push.

Ken West/Adam Zammit Big Day Out – Founder/CEO
The first to admit that Big Day Out has had a tough period recently, the appointment of Peer Group founder/CEO Adam Zammit as the new CEO and a new deal with C3 (the promoters behind Lollapalooza) has Big Day Out looking at the top rung of the festival hierarchy once again. There's even more experience and expertise behind the event than ever before.
