There's only a couple of months to go until this year's Port Fairy Folk Festival and today they've shared the line-up for the 2019 Writers Program.

Musician Broderick Smith will be launching his book, Man Out Of Time, at the festival, looking at his extensive career in groups like The Dingoes, The Adderley Smith Blues Band and more.

Irish singer Mary Coughlan will also be launching her memoir, Bloody Mary - My Story, looking back at her career and her home country in the '70s and '80s.

Doug Anthony All Stars member Paul Livingston will be sharing a reading from his book DAAS: Their Part In My Downfall, which saw him interview peers and fans alike.

Punters can bring in each morning with The Aussie Morning Show, Jim Haynes with Gregory North, Col Driscoll and special guest Anne E Stewart, with the One Minute Poets' Brawl to take place as part of the Monday morning programming.

Stewart will also be hosting a Storytelling Workshop on the Saturday morning, to help writers with goal setting, story selection and performance skills.
