Port Fairy Folk Festival have yet another announcement up their sleeve as they inch towards their 41st event next March, adding a slew of international and homegrown acts to the bill and an exclusive performance of The Last Waltz Revisited, thanks to the RocKwiz crew.
This third announcement brings Kiwi songstress Mel Parson, Canadian alt-country outfit The Jerry Cans, Danish act Afengin, New Zealand soul singer Hollie Smith and Sydney act The Crooked Fiddle Band to the fray, joining a line-up already bursting with talent from the likes of Paul Kelly, Tex Perkins & Stella Angelico, Suzannah Espie and The Waifs.
Other new acts include Graeme James, Hollie Smith, 8Foot Felix, Backsliders, Bush Gothic, Charm Of Finches, Christine Collister & Michael Fix, The Dead Maggies, Kutcha Edwards Trio, Low Down Riders, Nancie Schipper, The Scrims, The Skeleton Club, Steve Boyd's Rum Reverie and Thomas Hugh.
Brian Nankervis and the RocKwiz OrKestra, Vika & Linda Bull and the Last Waltzer's horn section will also bring The Last Waltz Revisited to the 2017 festival, first performed in December 2015 to great acclaim.
The Music is proudly presenting the 41st Port Fairy Folk Festival, which returns to the seaside town from 10-13 March 2017.
