NSW police have dismissed allegations that they used tasers on punters during a raid of a Sydney nightclub on Saturday.
Club 77's venue runner, Matty Bicket, alleged that "one kid was apparently tazered [sic] in the back alley for not complying" however police said in a statement given to The Music today "information circulating regarding use of Taser is incorrect".
Bicket further alleged that there were no arrests or drug detections during the raid of the Darlinghurst venue, which police have also said is incorrect.
"Police conducted a proactive operation, utilising a police drug detection dog, in the Kings Cross Local Area Command last night which lead to 13 drug detections," NSW Police's statement reads.
"Nine of these were issued court attendance notices for drug possession and three issued a cannabis caution."

Meanwhile, Keep Sydney Open has addressed the allegations, saying that "serious conversation" needs to be had regarding police conduct.
"Just when a little confidence in Sydney's nightlife starts to build, NSW Police pull a stunt like this," Keep Sydney Open wrote on Facebook.
"We need to have a very serious conversation about police conduct and their use of taxpayer-funded resources."
