The resurgent dance trio expand their comeback run with a spot on the regional touring fest
The PNAU revival continues apace, with the acclaimed Sydney/LA trio following up their inclusion on Hot Dub Time Machine's winery tour with a spot on the upcoming Groovin The Moo festival run.
The addition of the Chameleon hit-makers to the bill comes as GTM organisers announce that half of this year's events have now sold out in an "unprecedented" response from punters, with Maitland, Bendigo and Canberra all reaching capacity in the days since general tickets went on sale last week.
"The response has been overwhelming and, to be honest, it's unprecedented," promoter Steve Halpin said in a statement. "We sincerely want to thank everyone for their support of Groovin The Moo, including those patrons who had faith in our event and snapped up their Christmas pre-sale tickets before we announced our line-up!"
Clearly, the gig-going public were already pretty keen on this year's regional tour, and with the addition of PNAU to a line-up that already boasts international and local drawcards such as Against Me!, Tash Sultana, Amy Shark, Architects, The Darkness, The Smith Street Band and heaps more, it's certain to only further fuel the FOMO for those not heading along.

Despite the 50% sell-out rate to date, aspirant attendees are not totally up the creek — along with the event's ticketing resale facility for the exhausted regions (now open via Moshtix), the organisers also have some suggestions about road trip ideas that could be up your alley if you're willing to travel.
For more information about those options, as well as details on other programs such as Shoot The Moo (the subject of which is now The Wombats, following DRAM's withdrawal from the festival) and the triple j Unearthed competition, see the Groovin The Moo website.
