English singer and record producer PinkPantheress will make her Australian debut in October and November 2024 when she opens for Coldplay, but in addition to those dates, the Boy’s A Liar Pt. 2 singer has added two headline shows in Melbourne and Sydney.
PinkPantheress (real name Victoria Beverly Walker) will perform her headline shows at Melbourne’s Festival Hall on Tuesday, 29 October, and Sydney’s Hordern Pavilion on Tuesday, 5 November. My Live Nation members can access early tickets tomorrow (8 December) at 1 pm, with general tickets for the shows going on sale on Monday, 11 December, at 1 pm. You can find tickets here.
The tour announcement arrives a month after PinkPantheress released her debut album, Heaven Knows. While containing some surprises, the album also includes the singles Boy's A Liar Pt. 2 featuring Ice Spice, Mosquito, Capable Of Love, and Nice To Meet You, starring Central Cee.
An album of the “accumulation of music [she has] made over the last two years”, PinkPantheress told Rolling Stone that the release is about “journeying from hell into purgatory, but I'm OK with being there”.
Boy’s A Liar is a massive song in Australia, landing at #2 on the ARIA Singles Chart upon its release and certified three times Platinum. Meanwhile, Boy’s A Liar Pt. 2 (the remix featuring Ice Spice) topped the Singles Chart in New Zealand.
Due to demand, Coldplay are playing four shows in Sydney and Melbourne on their upcoming 2024 Australian tour. Both cities already had two shows announced; extra and final shows were added on the day pre-sale tickets were made available. You can find tickets here.

Coldplay’s October/November 2024 Australian dates follow their recent two-night stint at Perth’s Optus Stadium. Here’s what The Music reviewer Sam Mead had to say about the band’s first Perth show: “The energy is unreal - it’s like sitting in your front room with 60,000 other friends, listening to Chris and the boys set your house on fire in the best way possible.”
Mead also called the show “a pure spectacle of a live performance”, praising the band’s punchy, hard-hitting grooves and journey through their rich 26-year-old catalogue.
