Phoenix Announce New Album Release Date

French indie band Phoenix have announced they'll release their upcoming album here in Oz on Friday 19 April.

Bankrupt! is their first release since their 2009 Grammy-award winning album Wolfgang Amadeus Phoenix.

This record will also mark their first release as part of The Mushroom Group roster, which was announced by Michael Gudinski last week in Sydney. Gudinski also hinted that he would be looking to coax the band to tour through the group's touring arm.
