The "Unwritten Spoon" super team are sticking together from top to tail this December

Back in July, Unwritten Law frontman Scott Russo and Grinspoon centrepiece Phil Jamieson announced they would be embarking on a joint acoustic tour of the country, though they were originally to part ways for Russo to swing through Queensland for some special acoustic shows.

However, that's all set to change, with the announcement today that Jamieson will indeed be joining Russo for his jaunt across the country's north-easternmost state, with both men now kicking off their December double-header — affectionately dubbed the "Unwritten Spoon" tour — at the Sunshine Coast's Sol Bar, on Friday, December 12, and heading to The Brightside, in Brisbane, the following evening, before the main leg of the tour — which was always going to feature both gents in the limelight — gets under way at The Gov, in Adelaide, on Wednesday, December 17.

The pair of veteran musos are no strangers to each other, having first met while on the Warped Tour together back in 1999, and having performed such unplugged co-headliners as recently as May this year.

This particular sojourn will be all over by December 23, by which time they'll have played an additional six shows in locations such as Hobart, Melbourne and Sydney — check the Gig Guide or see The Music App for a full rundown of dates, venues and ticketing details.
