"I thought I would retire quietly."
After huge demand for his first Sydney show, Phil Collins has today announced a second Sydney date for his upcoming Australian tour.
Collins will now play Sydney's Qudos Bank Arena on 22 January, one day after the previously announced show, following an overwhelming demand from pre-sale ticket sales.
Collins will now play a total of six shows on the run, which includes stops in Brisbane, Adelaide, Perth and Melbourne.
"I thought I would retire quietly," Collins said. "But thanks to the fans, my family and support from some extraordinary artists I have rediscovered my passion for music and performing.
"It’s time to do it all again and I’m excited. It just feels right."
