Peter BibbyAustralian “maverick poet” Peter Bibby isn’t one to shy away from the truth, today unveiling honest new single Work For Arseholes alongside an album announcement and supporting tour.
The singer-songwriter’s second studio album, Grand Champion, will drop September 28 via Spinning Top Records/Caroline and will be followed by a comprehensive headline stint in October with his band, Dog Act.
“I wrote [Work for Arseholes] to make myself feel better about being a thirsty, unemployed insomniac whilst sitting in my bedroom in Northcote, Victoria,” Bibby said.
“It didn't make me feel that much better, however, I have, for the most part, avoided working for arseholes ever since and I see that as a great success."
