Pete Murray Confirms Massive ‘Before I Go’ Tour

To celebrate the release of his new EP, Aussie favourite Pete Murray will hit the road in July.

The massive run of Before I Go shows, presented by The Music, will kick off in early July on the Gold Coast and will run until mid-October with support from sibling singing/songwriting duo DACY, marking Murray’s first East Coast headline stint in three years.

“Honestly, I can’t tell you how good it is to be back playing live music! I've wanted to play both these EPs (The Night and Before I Go) for ages, I’m absolutely pumped about it!” Murray said.

Before I Go is the companion to previous EP The Night and was written and recorded over two years before the pandemic.

On lead single You Give Me Something, Murray has previously noted: “As we grow older we start to re-evaluate our life and if things aren’t going right, we try and work out what the hell is going on. 

“This is about someone going through this re-evaluation and the fear they have of what the future might hold, due to the mistakes they have made in the past. At the same time, they know this is good for them and it’s their chance not to make the same mistakes again.”
