PeripheryOne of the most celebrated modern metal bands of the moment are coming back to Australia, it has been announced this afternoon, as American prog guns Periphery announce their return to Australia for three sideshows early in 2014.
They are pioneers of the often-controversial but still fervently loved djent genre and, despite all manner of line-up changes over the years, the music continues to blow minds all across the planet.

Joining the band this time around is Animal As Leaders, the equally-brutal and impressive instrumental prog-metal group from Washington DC. They are due for a new LP after signing a deal with Sumerian Records, so there's every chance there might be some new material on these Aussie dates. We'll see.
