And they'll take any good idea.

The annual Peats Ridge festival is now accepting applications from artists around the country who would like to showcase at the New Year's Eve camping festival held in the Glenworth Valley, NSW.

Expecting 10,000 festival punters, festival organisers are looking for visual artists, healers, alternative health practitioners, drummers, dancers, multimedia creators, performers, eco-living ambassadors, children's entertainers, comedians and will accept other ideas, also.

They are also looking for experts in sustainability, children's performance and activities, the creative arts, healing, and music to host workshops.

Applications are open for eight weeks from today until midnight Thursday 6 September

Peats Ridge Arts & Culture Manager Vic Johnstone said today, "Peats Ridge is a massive celebration of art and culture. We're looking for bold, interactive and engaging artists to be part of the experience this year.  We hope to uncover some new and inspiring works to create the eclectic festival experience our fans come back for year on year.

“All sorts of arts and cultural experiences will be considered to join the Festival. Past years we've commissioned massive art installations, kooky themed venues, multimedia activations, theatre, cabaret, comedy, even a giant trapeze.  Bold, interactive, fun, humorous and insightful artists are strongly encouraged to apply."
