The Big Day Out headliner's first studio album since 2009 has been receiving warm reviews by fans and their imminent visit will be doing their first week sales no harm. Cyrus' album Bangerz debuted at number one last week, dethroning Lorde's Pure Heroine which debuted at the same position the week before.
Other debuts by John Newman (Tribute), Trivium (Vengeance Falls) and Havana Brown (Flashing Light) are all shaping up in the five-to-15 territory on current figures, while Melbourne's Stonefield's self-titled record is poised for a top 20 debut.
Paul McCartney's New and Dora The Explorer's Dora's Christmas are also notable debuts in the top 50. Their labels will be hoping that both remain in the top 50 in the lead up to the festive period.
A few of the bigger pop releases are experiencing a boost this week, including Avicii's True, OneRepublic's Native and Bruno Mars' Unorthodox Jukebox.
Despite their tour cancellation, Pitbull and Ke$ha's Timber looks like being the top debut in the ARIA Singles Chart, with Katy Perry's Roar still favourite to hold down number one for another week. Other strong debuts include Justice Crew's Everybody, Calvin Harris featuring Alleso and Hurts' Under Control, Eminem's Survivor and James Arthur's You're Nobody 'Til Somebody Loves You.
Further down X-Factor's Taylor Henderson will debut with a performance of Augie March's One Crowded Hour and Little Mix will enter with new track Move.
The big movers include James Blunt's Bonfire Heart, Avicii's Hey Brother, Nathaniel Willemse's You and Zedd featuring Hayley Williams' Stay The Night.
