He's still got it
Aussie music legend Paul Kelly has expanded his August national tour by one extra show today, with ticket allocation exhausted for his headline spot in Wollongong, adding an extra performance for fans in the city south of Sydney.
Almost a month ago today, Kelly announced the 24-date Australia-wide tour in the name of his most recent release, last October's Spring And Fall, which he will play in full before ripping into tunes hand-picked from his 19-record repertoire.
The recently announced additional Friday evening show at Anita's Theatre in Wollongong comes after the advertised Saturday 17 August performance sold out, with ticketing also exhausted at Port Macquarie's Glasshouse show in early August.
Kelly, who has subsequently proven he still has a massive fan-base after a massive 40 years in the music industry, will be supported relatively young-in-comparison Urthboy, warming up for the multiple ARIA award winning musician.
Ticket sales for the new Wollongong show will kick on next Thursday 11 July through Ticketmaster, with presale starting next Monday at 2pm. Head to Live Nation to register.
