What a way to celebrate 20 years.
Queenscliff Music Festival is celebrating its 20th anniversary this year and today the first 12 acts on the bill have been announced which are led by Aussie legends Paul Kelly and Peter Garrett.
Kelly will take to the stage with fellow songwriter Charlie Owen, while Garrett will perform with his band The Alter Egos on the back of his forthcoming album, A Version Of Now.
The two artists join a line-up that includes the already-announced Ben Harper & The Innocent Criminals, Melbourne outfit Alpine, hip hop artist Urthboy (with special guests Bertie Blackman and Kira Piru), Ash Grunwald, Abbe May, Nattali Rize, Kylie Auldist, Quarter Street, Julia Jacklin and The Meltdown.
"Turning 20 is a major milestone and we’re really excited about the festival this November," festival director Andrew Orvis said.

"Queenscliff is more than just the music though… It’s about great shows, comfy surrounds, a family friendly vibe, yummy food & drinks, all in the beautiful historic Queenscliff and right on the shores of Port Phillip Bay."
Four more announces are expected to drop over the coming months to round out a line-up of over 80 local and international acts.
This year's festival takes place from 25-27 November and early bird tickets are on sale now, before general release tickets are available from 1 July.
