Paul Greene & The Other Colours Drop New Single 'Beautiful Delusion'

And they're about to set off a huge tour

Praised for the sophisticated, fearless songwriting and ambitious production of their critically-acclaimed release Behind The Stars, Paul Greene & The Other Colours have added a new tune to their repertoire, dropping Beautiful Delusion this morning.

The single is the first offering from their yet-to-be-named forthcoming album, utilizing all the gentle, nonchalant traits that made the outfit so popular last year.

Embellishing a little with a saccharine orchestral chorus, Beautiful Delusion is a beautifully-calm love song, relaxing with the ease of Greene's classy songwriting that contributed to the outfit's ARIA nomination for Best Blues/Roots Album in 2012. Have a listen.

Tragedy struck the band earlier this year, their drummer Matt Sykes passing away in a boating incident, the ensemble powering on in his memory, continuing to tour Behind The Stars for the remainder of the year.

Paul Greene & The Other Colours will hit the road once again later this month to show off their new material, unleashing a massive list of tour dates until the beginning of December – with more dates to be announced soon! See theGuide for all the gig details.

Single Beautiful Delusion is out now via ABC Music/Universal Australia, with their forthcoming record to be unveiled in 2014.
