He'll be supporting Ed Sheeran for an Australian stadium tour next month, but folk singer Passenger has today announced that he won't be away from Australia for too long, heading back down to our sunny shores for a headline national tour next February.

The crooner, who is known as Mike Rosenberg to his family, has a certain affinity with Australia, stating, "I used to come play all over the place in Australia … I used to stay here for 6 or 9 months at a time and play all sorts of regional shows and busk everywhere … half of me feels like a domestic act because I’ve been here for so long."

Passenger will roll out his tour in Hobart on Sunday, 21 February, before travelling to Sydney, Brisbane, Melbourne, Adelaide and Perth until Sunday, 6 March.
