Party In The Paddock Unveils Huge Second Artist Announcement

A week after The Kooks were announced as the secret headliner at next year’s Party In The Paddock, the Tasmanian festival has unveiled its huge second artist announcement.

Led by British indie rockers The Kooks, the second artist announcement also includes American singer-songwriter Oliver Tree, Aussie psych-rock outfit Pond, UK dance MC Kah-Lo, and Australia’s own Nina Las Vegas.

The festival has also locked in DJ sets from Kito and Foura, performances from Dizzy Days and Exiles, Jimi The Kween, and The Dolly Parton Experience. Elsewhere, the second artist announcement includes Sasquin, Rabbit the Band, Rā Bellatrix, Hunks, Flow Kobra, Abby Wallace, Oscar O’Shea Trio, Molly O'Brien, Cody Cooper and Funeral Jeans. The triple j Unearthed winner, who will be revealed early next year, will also join the line-up.

The Kooks are one of the headliners, along with Norway’s AURORA and Australia’s Empire Of The Sun. The mega first artist announcement boasted the likes of Amyl And The Sniffers, Role Model, Angie McMahon, King Stingray, The Rubens, Thelma Plum, Slowly Slowly, and many more. Party In The Paddock will take place from Thursday, 6 February, to Sunday, 9 February, at Quercus Park (approximately 15 minutes from Launceston) in Tasmania/lutruwita.
