Parquet Courts Sign To Create/Control

One of our favourite bands from this year's SxSW, Parquet Courts, have today announced they've signed a deal with Australian label Create/Control and will release their debut LP Light Up Gold over here next month.

We aren't the only media outlet losing our shit over the band; they have been darlings of the music press since the release of said record overseas. They have backed up the hype that has surrounded them with plenty of touring, which has seen them perform their snarling, stripped back fare to adoring audiences all over their home country.

Hopefully the fact they now have an Australian release will mean we can see the group playing some shows in Australia before long.

Light Up Gold will be released through Create/Control on Friday 10 May.
