Parquet Courts Stream Track (Featuring Recorder!) From New EP

Over the past couple of months we have been pretty gushy over the work of Brooklyn garage punk (relative) newcomers Parquet Courts, praising their live show after catching them abroad and giving the maddest of props to their recent LP Light Up Gold.

You'd understand our excitement at hearing a new EP from the group is on its way via Create/Control – Tally All The Things You Broke will be out later this year – and that the insanely infectious lead track from it, You've Got Me Wondering Now, is online already!

There ought to be more recorders in garage rock.

Despite their insane, non-stop tour schedule, the band haven't yet made it to Australia, but we're hoping like hell they'll sneak onto a festival line up this summer so we can have some beers and jump around like loons to the songs that have been such a big part of our year.
