Who will win the race to #1?
Byron Bay metalcore band Parkway Drive are gunning for a career-first #1 album debut this week on the ARIA Album Charts with their latest offering, Ire, but to reach top spot they'll have to topple international giants Chvrches and Disclosure.
Parkway Drive have debuted in the #2 and #3 spots in the past with 2010's Deep Blue and 2012's Atlas respectively, but the top spot is well within their reach — read our review for the new album here, as well as our chat with frontman Winston McCall.
Scottish electro act Chvrches could throw a spanner in the works however as they are gunning for a top three finish with their sophomore record, Every Open Eye, as are UK's Disclosure, also with their second album, Caracal, which was our pick for Album Of The Week.
Also debuting on the Albums Chart this week includes New Order with Music Complete, rapper Fetty Wap's self-tited record, as well as Aussie acts Pierce Brothers' Into The Dirt and blues singer Ash Grunwald's Now.
