Who will win the race to #1?

More Parkway Drive More Parkway Drive

Byron Bay metalcore band Parkway Drive are gunning for a career-first #1 album debut this week on the ARIA Album Charts with their latest offering, Ire, but to reach top spot they'll have to topple international giants Chvrches and Disclosure.

Parkway Drive have debuted in the #2 and #3 spots in the past with 2010's Deep Blue and 2012's Atlas respectively, but the top spot is well within their reach  — read our review for the new album here, as well as our chat with frontman Winston McCall.

Scottish electro act Chvrches could throw a spanner in the works however as they are gunning for a top three finish with their sophomore record, Every Open Eye, as are UK's Disclosure, also with their second album, Caracal, which was our pick for Album Of The Week.

Also debuting on the Albums Chart this week includes New Order with Music Complete, rapper Fetty Wap's self-tited record, as well as Aussie acts Pierce BrothersInto The Dirt and blues singer Ash Grunwald's Now.

Over on the Singles Chart, Australian songstress Sia makes her return with Alive; the first single from her forthcoming record This Is Acting which is set for a top ten debut.

Also placing on this week's chart is the new track I'd Go With You Anywhere from Perth quintet Birds Of Tokyo.
