More Parkway Drive More Parkway Drive

Parkway Drive are working on releasing their third documentary film "next year some time" according to band member Luke Kilpatrick.

Appearing on a special episode of The Green Room with Neil Griffiths podcast to promote their newly-announced headlining sets at December's Good Things Festival, the guitarist let the news slip when discussing their plans for the rest of 2019.

"We're making a new film. That might be an exclusive statement," Kilpatrick told host Neil Griffiths.

"It's pretty tight lipped... it just follows our story a little bit more from where the last one left off but in a more intriguing way, I think."

The film would the follow-up to 2009's Parkway Drive: The DVD and 2012's Home Is For The Heartless, with Kilpatrick adding that the Byron Bay outfit will head out on tour to coincide with the release next year.

When asked when fans should expect new music on the back of last year's Australian #1 album Reverance, Kilpatrick said, "There's definitely plans but not an immediate follow-up".

"We really wanna take the time to make sure it's better than Reverance so it's gonna take an effort."
