Panic Records have announced the signing of Massachusetts based hardcore band Powerwolves.
The label will be releasing the band's new album "You Won't Find Peace" on August 9.
The label said:
"In 2010 I heard the Powerwolves demo and was all over that action. I emailed them right away telling them how much I was into the demo and almost begged them to let me release it. Their reply "Thanks for being stoked on our demo, but...we haven't even played a show yet, we'd feel weird being on a label before playing a show". I rocked that demo almost daily and kept tabs on them.
Beginning of this year the Powerwolves are recording a full length and I of course got in touch again and said "WHAT THE FUCK!!! LET ME PUT THAT SHIT OUT!". Their reply this time around "LET'S DO IT!". So let it be written, so let it be done. Powerwolves are set to release their debut full length entitled You Won't Find Peace August 9th, 2011 on Panic Records.
The demo blew me away, but the full length makes me want to kill you. I'm not going to tell you how they sound like this band or that band, or whatever. As seeing is believing, so is hearing. You can stream the title track from their debut LP You Won't Find Peace now on the Panic Facebook or Powerwolves Facebook pages."
