Show location will be unveiled in the next few weeks
Sydney-bred electro luminaries Panama have been announced as the headline act for this year’s Sounds In The Snow event.
The so-billed “exclusive music experience” is presented by Rekorderlig Cider, and will be held in Thredbo from 2pm on Saturday, September 13, and forms part of a wider celebration of the concurrent Beautifully Swedish festivities taking over the mountain town next month.
Panama have been keeping busy of late, with the Sydneysiders arriving in Thredbo fresh on the heels of an international tour that sees them step out in style for performances throughout Europe and the US. All that playing should have them well in-form by the time they grace the stage in Thredbo this September.
Sounds In The Snow itself is a free event, and will no doubt serve as the ideal social warmer and ice-breaker before punters head down to the Thredbo Alpine Hotel for a Euro-inspired après-ski/show session of hanging out at Rekorderlig’s custom hot pool.

If you were hoping for something a little more specific than “it’s in Thredbo”, you’ll have to check out the Rekorderlig Cider Facebook page, where they’ll be revealing the precise co-ordinates of the gig to gig-goers in the near future.
Additional events and activities will be going down at the Alpine Hotel on the Thursday, Friday and Saturday of Sounds In The Snow from 3pm-6pm, including Swedish-inspired foods and beverages, entertainment, fire pits, and that rad-sounding hot pool.
