Though he says the decision has been coming for months.
When it became apparent that “death pop” group Orgy weren't going to reach their ambitious crowdfunding target of $100,000, the internet took notice. The band then did what no band should ever do and fed those critical of their campaign more ammunition by publicly attacking those reporting on their failings on their Facebook page.
Things aren't getting much better for the band in the wake of all this new attention, with one of the band members, guitarist and keyboardist Ashburn Miller, today announcing that he'll be leaving the band.
"There's nothing negative here — the guys understand and know that I will always be in their lives creatively as well as personally, and there is nothing but love for every one of them as well as all of you that I've met out there on the road during my amazing time with the guys.”

Miller has stated that the decision has been coming “over the past few months”, but that didn't stop him appearing in the band's ill-fated campaign, launched at the end of August.
The band confirmed that they have already found a replacement for Ashburn
The band have two days left to reach their goal, but require over $92,000 to do so. Remember, if you pledge for the $1,000 “Date With A Band Member” perk, Miller is out of the game.
