There was a Sydney-based hole in ONEFOUR's Australian tour schedule. Until now.

There was a Sydney-based hole in ONEFOUR’s Australian tour scheduling that they announced earlier this year. However, that’s since been rectified, with the hip-hop group announcing their first-ever headline show in their home city.
On Saturday, 6 September, ONEFOUR will headline Sydney’s City Recital Hall with special guests The 046. Tickets are moving fast for the 16+ show – you can find tickets here.
ONEFOUR have long had a turbulent relationship with NSW Police. In 2019, their sold-out national tour was cancelled after a police crackdown. Their 2023 appearance at the Sydney Royal Easter Show was also canned due to concerns that the group’s music would “incite violence.”
The group’s management previously accused NSW Police of “adopting a singularly youth-focused, ‘fear-based’ censorship strategy” that “set a dangerous precedent [with] police ultimately determining which artists can and can’t play at music venues in Australia.”
The group’s 2023 Netflix documentary, Against All Odds, reignited the tension with unprecedented police presence at the SXSW Sydney screening.
So, ONEFOUR finally having the opportunity to perform a headline show in their home city is a big deal.
