Police have responded to The Music.
NSW Police have confirmed to The Music that they "provided advice" to Sydney's Star Casino following allegations that Onefour were barred from entering the venue for the 2019 ARIA Awards on Wednesday.
According to The Daily Telegraph's Confidential, management for the Western Sydney drill group claimed that police visited “the homes of two band members to ban them from attending (the) ARIA Awards venue, and their local shopping centre, via exclusion orders”.
When contacted by The Music today, police responded in a statement saying "We can confirm that the NSW Police Force provided advice to the venue".
It comes after Onefour's entire Australian tour was axed yesterday following the cancellation of Melbourne, Adelaide and Sydney dates this past week.
"Our fans have never caused any issue at our concerts. So why can’t you see us perform?" the Mt Druitt group said in a statement posted on Facebook overnight.
"Making and performing music is not a crime. And when they tell you you’ve got to make a better future for yourself why do they want to trap you in your past?"
