Lockjaw EP enters the chart

Flume & Chet Faker have just missed out on the top 20 in the ARIA Singles Chart this week as UK boy band One Direction debut at the top of the album ranks.

The cooler-than-thou duo debuted at 21 with Drop The Game, the lead single from the Lockjaw EP and the track which EP sales are being counted for. It was the highest debut for the week, which saw Eminem and Rihanna's The Monster retain top spot ahead of John Legend's All Of Me. The latter jumped from 13 to two this week.

It was expected that all three of the tracks on the Lockjaw EP would crack the top 50, but This Song Is Not About A Girl landed at 52 and What About Us at 53.

In the album charts One Direction's Midnight Memories debuted at number one, with comedian The 12th Man's new compilation Willy Nilly – The 12th Man's Biggest Hits at four.

Ex-Powderfinger frontman Bernard Fanning's Itunes Sessions debuted at 19 while the two versions of Cold Chisel's The Live Tapes Vol 1: Live At The Hordern Pavilion, April 18, 2012 kept that live album from debuting higher than it could have. The deluxe edition landed at 27, with the standard at 28. The DVD version of Chisel's The Live Tapes Vol 1 debuted at two in the Music DVD chart - the week's highest entry there.

One Direction also conquered the Digital Albums chart but there, Fanning came in at three ahead of The 12th Man at four. It also found Sydney's Oliver Tank in at 43 with Slow Motion Music.
